Template: Current design validates Virginia IDs issued by the DMV.

Validation:

• Fine-line design; ghost image in clear window with variable type wave printing below.
• Customer identifier, expiration date, birth date, and holder’s signature in raised print.
• Customer identifier, date of birth, and gender in clear laser-engraved raised print.
• Photo edge; microprinting; UV state seal, DMV logos, “Virginia,” and microprinting in wavy lines.
• Back: Date of birth in clear (TACTILE) raised print; holder’s signature; microprinted technique.

Scannable Features:

• Polycarbonate cards; 1D and 2D barcodes on back. License may show out-of-state address.
• May show Real ID.
