That may seem trivial compared to the death of a young woman, but the widening of id card fake charges against a teenage drink-driving driver just shows the seriousness of false identities.

The driver, who was 17 at the time of the accident, has been charged with vehicular crime and DUI after an accident in the southern U.S. state of Georgia left Hannah Gilmer fatally injured.

Two of the driver’s companions, Clayton Qualls, were arrested following the crash when police discovered they were hiding beer bought with scannable fake ids. This is changing evidence – a legitimate crime.

Qualls currently has to deal with misconduct penalties under Georgia’s fake ID statute.

Local police accepted scannable fake ids to allow the youngsters to get their hands on beer, while Austin Lott and Daniel Hughes Massengail are currently charged with trying to hide after a fatal accident in which a 16-year-old young woman died.

Lott, the first of the three to appear in court, is clearly deeply disturbed by the difficulties he has endured – and is clearly unfit to represent most consultations.

Still, the police investigating the accident have the option of talking. Two officials revealed that there were two unidentified pickup trucks at the scene, one of which Lott had been driving — and he admitted, at Qualls’ request, that he had taken the hidden vehicle while confronting Lott at the police base, they said. Beer took away. Police said Lott had thrown a beer on a nearby wall, but officials later tracked it down.

Hours later, Qualls kicked the bucket at the medical clinic – police say – the Scion he was driving swerved completely on the highway and collided with the street – and 16-year-old Hannah Gilmer was thrown from the car.

Two different litigants in this situation had been driving before Qualls and drove back to help after seeing the accident, which, for Qualls, implied, as police pointed out, alcohol handling at the scene.

Qualls currently has to deal with DUI penalties and illegal possession of alcohol. After being rushed by district representatives, he denied drinking alcohol but took a breath test.

One young life ends, and three others appear vulnerable to irreparable harm from the wrongdoing that began with buying a fake id.
